The monumental Formula 1 Opus will be the largest, most luxurious tribute that unveils the epic journey in to the heart of the world’s most passionate sport. The best writers and photographers have combined forces to take the viewer on an exhilarating ride from the infamous first Formula 1 race in 1906, through to the high tech world of modern F1.

Due to be launched in early 2009, the Formula 1 Opus will weigh an extraordinary 35kg, with over 800 pages each measuring half a meter square. Members of The Cobden will be able to preview some of the fascinating content from this forthcoming Opus in an exhibition at the club, which will include extraordinary and breathtaking images from the history of Formula 1.

The Formula 1 Opus is strictly limited to 2,000 copies worldwide, each one hand-signed by the legendary Bernie Ecclestone. 

A special Champions Edition will be available, limited to only 100 copies and presented in a carbon fibre case. Each copy of this edition will be hand-signed by all living F1 champions, which includes Sir Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Damon Hill, Fernando Alonso and many more, including the 2008 champion.
