Portobello Film Festival 2008 – Pre-Festival warm up party. This year’s theme is’ Carnival’ which will be running from the 28th August – 14th September. The Cobden will be showing short clips of what’s to be expected at the festival. This will take place in the Grand Hall from 8pm.

Portobello Film Festival 2008 premieres over 700 new films - features, shorts, documentaries, music films and animation – from all over the world at Westbourne Studios- Acklam Road W10, The Tabernacle – Powis Square, W11, and the Inn On The Green – Thorpe Close W10, from 28 August to 14 September. Entry to all events is free.

Beautiful and the Damned - Carnival Party

The Beautiful And The Damned are holding their annual Notting Hill After Party at the Cobden Club on Sunday 24 August from 7pm till late.

With over 3 floors of music.

This year will see The Beautiful and the Damned Residents Chris Jay and Karl Gonzales joined by a whole host of DJs including: - Phil Lorraine from up and coming label House Trained, Ben Zaven Crane AKA Mojo Filter and Simon Kurrage and the Size Doesn’t Matter crew hosting the Ground Floor..
